There are several compact utility tractors on the market today. The John Deere 2000 series has a 3-cylinder Yanmar diesel engine with 24 horsepower. It has a differential lock which increases traction and pulling power and independent mid and rear PTOs. The hydro transmission provides infinite speed selection without clutching or shifting required for direction changes.
