It is universal that at one time or another, many a child will decide that he or she wants to wear glasses. The question is what occurs next. Some kids choose to pretend they cannot see well until their parents are forced to bring them to the optomotrist for an eye exam. It is then discovered that their eyesight is perfect and they are sent home disappointed and deflated.
In other scenarios, for children who are great fakers, they will be brought to the eye doctor and will be able to fake their way through the appointment in a compelling way. They will get glasses and proceed to be miserable until they break down and tell the truth.
Thankfully, there is a solution. Non prescription glasses, or glasses without a real prescription in the lenses, are a wonderful way for children to enjoy wearing fashionable frames without the cost or damage of real lenses. These are available at amazon online and sometimes at stores geared toward children, such as Claires. Go get them, they’re great fun!

Believe me, weve been there done that with our daughter! I agree, the non prescription glasses are awesome. Wish they wouldve had more of those when I was a kid! Kudos to those smart designers and marketers!
