Tips and Info about Grants

  • Alternative energy grants are necessary to provide an incentive for people to switch at least part of their energy over to renewable sources.
  • there is always a significant expense involved in the installation of any energy system, especially solar photovoltaic technology.
  • If finance was the only criteria on which energy production was judged, there is no doubt that we would always opt for traditional fuels.
  • It is far too much to expect that the majority of people will deliberately choose the more expensive option, and reduce their quality of life as a consequence.

Solar Panels

21 May

Posted by Estelle,

You must have heard the buzz of “switching to non-conventional energy”. There are a lot of campaigns organized by several governments and nonprofit agencies that promote the idea of switching to non-conventional energy sources. Solar energy has proven to be the best available non-conventional energy source. Sunlight is readily available free of cost, everywhere. It was primarily used for drying clothes and heating water. However, the growing popularity of solar powered devices has called for several innovative products that work on solar energy.      The solar products industry is growing at a very fast pace. Use of solar products is not only limited to industrial or commercial purposes, but for residential purposes as well. Solar power panels have made their way into households, and residential solar power systems are compact compared with those used in industries and other commercial places.

The Myth of Great Green Energy

16 May

Posted by Roxana,

It is interesting to watch the politicians scramble to see how the oil slick will benefit them……..I mean their constituents. Republicans as asking for help and Democrats are in bed with big oil. There has been talk and little action when it comes to green energy.  It seems that the great green energy movement  that was supposed to supply us power without fossil fuels is just a myth.  Or is it? It is available in wind farms throughout the country and if there was a decent grid that would allow energy to go to all major cities and towns throughout the nation, we could make quite a dent in our consumption of fossil fuels. The time is now.
