I am never sure what to give my dad for his birthday or Christmas. He is a man who has it all and if he does not have it, he will buy it himself. Since that is the case I decided to start purchasing things for him that have the potential to increase in value over time. I decided to by him different collectible coins. The first one that I purchased for him was the Canadian Maple Leaf Gold Coin. I chose this one because my dad’s family background is Canadian. When he received this coin and I told him all I knew about it, he was really happy.

I did not want to just sit and wait for my life to pass me by. It seemed that I no matter where the realtor took us it was priced too high. I felt at this rate, we were going to lose a chance to invest in a home. I sat down with my wife and I told her we needed to switch gears and maximize our money. Then I told the realtor to only show us HUD foreclosure homes. She did as we wished and we saw ten of them, before we found the one that we call home today. We love it.

My mom is happy now. She has the life that she always wanted and she is free to do as she pleases. She goes to lunch with her friends and she has a better quality of life. I am thrilled for her and so is my husband. My mother found the answers that she was looking for online. It was then that she made her decision. She decided to cash out her equity index annuity and she is excited about the money she has. I think that she made the right choices and it is great to see her happy all of the time.
