Work Reports

23 Nov

The assistant at our office always gets stuck doing the reports on Friday afternoon. The rest of us don’t try to suck up to the boss and we tell him no.  She always says yes then complains that she works all weekend and never gets to see her kids. This week she is doing a report on Ethernet Cat5e Cable. This report will take her so long to do. I don’t know if she can even possibly get it done by Monday. He expects so much out of her but she never tells him no. She does not get anything special for doing it either.

The Need For An Ethernet Splitter

12 Nov

My sister recently asked me how to use an Ethernet Splitter. I told her that it’s a very simple process. It will also be nice that she is able to use one ethernet outlet on two different computers. My sister finds that hard to understand computers and how they work. I do my best to help her and explain all of the different terms and definitions. I love helping her and teaching her all of the basics. I know that her knowledge will grow as time goes by. My sister is learning more and more about computers every day. She is excited to learn more about how the splitter works.

Where Can I Purchase Cat 6 Network Cable?

01 Sep

Rob was upgrading all his wiring in his network. He needed ethernet wire that would support 10 gigabit. He purchased all new connectors and looked for bulk wire that was flexible. He has done all the wiring before by himself and did not see any problem as long as he could purchase Cat 6 Network Cable. Rob searched a local hardware store, but they did not have the patch that he needed. He decided to check online to see if he could find a company that sells shielded wiring for a network. Rob found what he was looking for online.

Streamline Cabling Problems

17 Aug

Where we live now we are limited by the service providers for Internet and Cable. Unfortunately we had to sign up with a company that sends you the equipment and then you have to set everything up. This is not exactly easy for someone like myself who knows nothing about how to set up electronics and especially when it comes to Cabling. Luckily there has been enough information from the customer service department to get me up and running with Internet connection but hopefully I can find handy websites to reference how to make this a better looking office area with all the cords.
